Introducing the innovative Boost-A-Slide, a portable tool designed to streamline the process of opening undamaged sump slide/rod setups on round grain bins.
When initiating grain removal, sump slides often become stuck closed due to factors such as grain fines, dirt, friction, or the weight of the grain impacting slide movement. The Boost-A-Slide is specifically engineered to address these challenges effectively. With adjustable width and depth settings, this versatile tool accommodates various styles of rod/pipe bin sump controls, allowing for the outward pulling of the sump slide to achieve the desired grain flow. Simplify your grain bin operations with the convenience and reliability of the Boost-A-Slide.
Push/Pull Grain Scraper
Lightweight aluminum moldboard as a kit; handle NOT part of kit as the length (5′) is overlength and costly to ship, but uses commonly locally available thinwall rigid conduit which is available at electrical supply firms, big box stores, etc.; conduit slides over stub shaft on moldboard mount and requires one 5/16″ hole drilled to mount. SCRAPER is faster and easier to use to knock down excess grain into sumps and secondary cleanouts to install carry in sweep.
Slow Down Wheel Kit
This innovative Slow Down Wheel Kit is designed to replace the existing end rubber disc drive assembly in your grain handling equipment. The new wheel kit is engineered for enhanced durability and improved performance, particularly in high-stress operations.
Key features include:
- Robust Construction: Built with high-quality materials to withstand harsh operating conditions and reduce wear and tear.
- Enhanced Compatibility: The kit is specifically designed to fit only 5″ carry-in V backshield sweeps with a 10″ drive end pulley, ensuring a precise fit and optimal functionality. It is commonly used in 30′ to 42′ bins that also have secondary floor sump cleanouts for door access to set the sweep.
- Simple Installation: Designed for straightforward installation, the Slow Down Wheel Kit allows for quick upgrades to your existing equipment, minimizing downtime and maintenance costs. The slip-on carry hook for 1½” carry-in on the motor mount end, and at the sump mount, use the other hand to swing the pivot mount of the sweep into the sump. After setting, the hook slips off easily for motor mounting.
